What this website collects

This notice covers this website only. It does not cover your medical records at Magnum Hospital, which the hospital holds under its own policies, and it does not cover what you say to the hospital on the phone or on WhatsApp.

The enquiry form

If you send an enquiry you give us your name, your phone number, the department you want, the day and the half of the day you would prefer, and anything you type in the notes box. Naming a department says something about your health, so please write only as much as you want the front desk to read.

It goes to the front desk so that somebody can call you back. It is not used for anything else, you will not be sent marketing, and it is not passed to anyone outside the hospital.

The form is handled by Netlify, which hosts this website, and submissions sit in Netlify's system until they are deleted. Netlify holds them on our instruction and for no purpose of its own.

If you are a consultant filling in your own page

The form at add your details is for the hospital's consultants, not for patients. What you send there is written for publication: your qualifications, what you treat, your clinic hours, your council registration number and so on go onto your own page on this site, in your words. It is collected in order to be published, so please do not put anything in it you would not want a patient to read.

Booking in the hospital's own system

The appointment buttons leave this website and open Magnum Hospital's own booking system. Anything you enter there is held by the hospital in that system, under the hospital's policies, not by this website.

Calling and WhatsApp

Tapping the phone number dials the hospital. Tapping a WhatsApp button opens a chat on the hospital's own WhatsApp line. Either way you are talking to the hospital directly, and the conversation is covered by the hospital's policies and by WhatsApp's. This website neither sees nor keeps it.

The reviews on the homepage

The rating, the number of reviews and the quotes on the homepage are read from Google, which is where the reviewers wrote them. The reviewer's name is shown with their words because Google's terms require it, and each name links to their Google profile. We do not collect anything about you by showing them, and we cannot edit or remove a review: that is between the reviewer and Google.

Measurement

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It records four things you can do: tapping the phone number, tapping a WhatsApp button, tapping an appointment button, and reaching the thank-you page after sending the form.

It records that those happened, never what you typed. Nothing from either form, and no name, phone number or department, is sent to Google. Google Signals and ad personalisation are both switched off on this site, so your visit is not used to build an advertising profile of you or to put you in an audience.

If you arrived from an advertisement, Google records that the click arrived and, where you then tap a number or send the form, that it led somewhere. That is counted as a number, not as a person.

How long it is kept

Enquiries are kept while they are being dealt with and deleted when they are no longer needed for that. A consultant's details stay on the site while they practise here. Analytics data is kept for fourteen months and then deleted by Google automatically.

Asking to see it, correct it, or have it deleted

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and you do not have to give a reason. Write to info@magnumhospital.com or call +91 81294 21212 and say it is about a website enquiry. If you are not satisfied with the answer, the Data Protection Board of India can be approached under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
